Reliance Retail plans to open a 3,000 square foot Tira store in New Delhi’s DLF Mall which would launch in February 2024. The multi-brand store would retail a wide range of Indian and international beauty brands in Saket.
“Forever 21 is out of DLF Avenue Mall,” an anonymous source close to the matter told India Retailing. It is expected that Tira’s upcoming store will occupy the space which will be vacated by Forever 21. However, the reason for the US-based fast fashion brand’s departure is yet to be confirmed.
This month, Tira launched its first brick-and-mortar store in Chennai in the city’s Phoenix Palladium Mall. The brand opened its first ever brick-and-mortar store in April 2023 in Mumbai’s Jio World Drive and will expand with an omni-channel strategy.
Tira retails brands including Bobbi Brown, The Body Shop, Streax, Suva Beauty, Revolution, Garnier, and Clinique among others. Along with its growing number of brick-and-mortar stores, the business also retails from its e-commerce website and shopping app.
Tira currently counts Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Suhana Khan as its brand ambassadors and also partners with influencers to engage shoppers. The brand is also debuting a range of technology features in its stores to boost shopper engagement such as its AI-driven ‘fragrance Finder’ tool.
