(14/02/24) Dassault has confirmed that the Falcon 6X and
Falcon 2000LXS will be on display at the Singapore Air Show next
week.
The 6X, boasting the largest cabin cross section
of any purpose built business jet, received FAA and EASA
certification and entered service last year.
Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW812D
engines that can fly on sustainable aviation fuel blends up to 50
percent, the 6X can accommodate up to 16 passengers and has a
maximum range of up to 5,500 nm (10,186 km) and a maximum mach
operating speed (MMO) of 0.90.

Following the air show, the aircraft will
undertake an extensive demonstration tour through Southeast Asia,
Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the Asia Pacific region,
completing a worldwide tour that has already taken it across the
Americas, Europe and the Middle East.
“Operators who have flown the 6X as it has made
its way around the globe, praise the unparalleled quietness,
comfort and spaciousness of the cabin,” said Dassault Aviation
Chairman and CEO, Eric Trappier. “The 6X also retains the peerless
handling, versatility and short-field capability typical of all
our Falcons.”
This year’s air show will also be an opportunity
for Dassault to highlight the 4,000 nm (7,400 km) Falcon 2000LXS,
the latest version of the 2000 series, which has sold near to 700
units worldwide.
The 2000LXS can fly from Singapore nonstop to
anywhere in Asia, Australia and Dubai, and yet offers a
short-field capability comparable to that of smaller midsize jets.
MRO Services
Dassault Aviation continues to reinforce the range
of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services available to the
100-plus Falcons already operating in the Asia Pacific region.
Its ExecuJet MR0 affiliate will open a
brand new 149,500 sqft (13,900 sqm) service center in Kuala
Lumpur in March. The Subang Airport facility will be capable of handling
the largest Dassault aircraft, including the 6X and 10X, and will
serve as a leading hub for business aviation support in the
region.
