(21/09/23) A new dual-branded hotel in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia has announced its senior leadership team.
Bipan Kapur has joined the Renaissance Kuala
Lumpur Hotel & Convention Centre and Four Points by Sheraton Kuala
Lumpur, City Centre as Complex General Manager, whilst Daniel
Herrmann has been appointed as Complex Director of F&B, Chef Alan Wong
as Complex Director of Culinary, and Rosidah Abdullah as Complex
Director of Sales & Marketing.

Located just a stone’s throw away from the iconic
Petronas Twin Towers, the dual-branded property is expected to
open in the coming weeks.
With over
four decades of experience, Bipan Kapur has dedicated most of his
career to Marriott International. His career in hospitality began
with The Oberoi in 1980 in India, and since then he has worked
with other brands such as Sheraton,
Westin and Shangri-La in various locations, including India, the
Middle East, Australia, China, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, and
Singapore.
With nearly two decades of experience in F&B management, Daniel Herrmann has established himself as an
accomplished professional in the global hospitality industry.
Beginning his career in Germany at 19, he swiftly rose through the
ranks, overseeing restaurant operations across various countries,
including China, England, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Cayman
Islands, and Maldives. His notable achievements include managing
establishments with daily covers ranging from 500 to 2,000 at
properties like JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai and Grand Cayman
Marriott Resort, earning him the 2017 CALA Restaurateur of The
Year accolade.
Chef Alan Wong was
raised in a
family of food enthusiasts. His culinary journey began at the
age of eight, and his passion for contemporary European cuisine,
utilizing local produce, has guided his career since 2001. He has
refined his skills alongside talented mentors and chefs in
prestigious hotels in Singapore, China, and Malaysia. In 2018,
he joined the Marriott family as Director of Culinary at W Beijing Chang’an.
With over 20 years of experience in the
hospitality industry specializing in sales and client management, Rosidah Abdullah has led numerous sales,
marketing, events, revenue management, and reservations divisions.
Rosidah enjoyed
success in her recent role as Director of Sales & Marketing during the
pre-opening of Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur,
Chinatown in 2019, securing an
airline crew contract worth MYR 1.8 million in revenue.
