Footwear brand Aldo has opened its seventh brick-and-mortar store in the state of Punjab in Mohali. The store is located in the city’s CP67 Mall and opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony with company executives.
“We are pleased to announce the opening of Aldo’s latest store at CP67 Mohali,” announced Apparel Group India Private Limited in Linkedin. “This is our seventh store in Punjab and the 62nd store in India.” The Indian arm of the international retail giant is responsible for operating Canadian business Aldo’s stores in India.
Aldo joins brands in the 12 storey mall including The Body Shop, Under Armour, Marks & Spencer, and Bath & Body Works among others. The mall is located in Mohali’s Sector 67 and the project includes high-street retail, office spaces, serviced apartments, and a PVR multiplex, according to its website.
“Here’s another reason to say ‘Chak De Phatte Mohali’ because CP67 is turning the Tricity into a runway with Aldo Shoes,” announced the mall on Facebook. “And you are exclusively invited to rock the floor with style.”
The new Aldo store has segments for men’s and women’s footwear as well as handbags, fashion jewellery, and accessories among other products. With footwear styles ranging from casual to formal, the store aims to cater to a wide range of age groups and tastes.
