Japanese beauty brand Shiseido has opened its first standalone boutique store in the country through its exclusive partner for the Indian market ‘Baccarose’.
The store located at the Inorbit Mall in Malad, Mumbai was inaugurated by actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who is Shiseido’s brand ambassador in India.
The new 400 sq ft boutique store at Inorbit Malad will offer an extensive range of skincare and makeup products.
Commenting on the launch, Nicolas Baudonnet, vice president of fragrance and cosmetics division at Shiseido Asia Pacific in a statement said, “We are excited to introduce Shiseido’s world-class beauty products to the vibrant and diverse market in India. Our brand has a rich heritage of over 150 years, and we are delighted to bring our expertise and innovative products to Indian consumers.”
Kadambari Lakhani, director at Baccarose added, “We are thrilled to witness the unveiling of Shiseido’s first standalone boutique store in India. This marks a momentous occasion not only for Shiseido but also for Baccarose as we continue our dedicated efforts to introduce premium international beauty brands to the Indian market.”
Shiseido also retails its beauty and skincare products through multi-brand retail outlets and e-commerce stores in India.
