Tata Group fine jewellery brand Mia by Tanishq has entered the UAE and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Dubai. Located at the central district of BurJuman, the store will be staffed by an all-female sales team. 

“Mia, Italian for mine, is elegant and exciting, powerful, and playful, trendy, and tasteful, and fine as much as fun,” said Mia by Tanishq’s business head Shyamala Ramanan, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “Endorsed by the coolest celebs and proudly worn by millennials, zoomers and those young at heart, the brand is fashioned for today’s quintessential go-getter who looks to jewellery to express herself but doesn’t settle for anything less than the best.”
 
Mia by Tanishq is known for its everyday, lightweight jewellery which is a modern take on traditional craftsmanship. Opening a store in Dubai marks the brand’s first foray into international brick-and-mortar retail and adds to its over 120 stores across India. 

“Dubai is the perfect platform to kickstart our international expansion because of the sheer concentration of young, modern, and financially independent women who call this vibrant city home,” said Ramanan. 
 
The brand recently launched its new ‘Starburst’ collection with a showcase event featuring brand ambassador and actress Rakul Preet Singh, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection features festive sparkle for the autumn winter season with a range of celestial inspired designs.
