The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts will hold the 57th edition of the Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair in February 2024. The trade show will promote Indian production to a global audience to boost business enquiries.
The upcoming edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair will take place at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida, the EPCH announced on its website. The business-to-business fair will feature product categories including clothing, textiles, homeware, lighting, fashion accessories, bags, gift items, and other handmade goods. The event is designed to facilitate networking between manufacturers and retailers and showcase upcoming trends in the industry.
“India has the capacity to export goods worth $1 trillion by 2030 and is on the road to becoming a major global manufacturing hub,” announced the EPCH on Facebook on October 26. “With 17% of the nation’s GDP and over 27.3 million workers, the manufacturing sector plays a significant role in the Indian economy. Experience India’s finest furniture, flooring, and furnishings at the IHGF Delhi Fair Spring 2024 and Source from the leading manufacturers of India.”
The EPCH is a non-profit organisation which works to promote Indian handicraft exports to create employment opportunities, preserve craft traditions, and boost the domestic economy. The organisation’s head office is located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi and the EPCH takes part in international trade shows annually including Heimtextil in Germany and the Spring Fair International in the UK.
