 Korean Air has selected six new wines for its short-haul flights.

Chosen in
collaboration with Marc Almert, a world-renowned sommelier, the new selection features
wines from Australia, France and Germany.

The wines will be served
in Prestige Class
in cycles that reflect the changing seasons. The selection also
highlights a more diverse blend from a variety of grapes
such as Riesling, Grenache and Merlot.

As part of the change, Korean Air organized an inflight wine
training session led by Marc for 150 first class cabin crew
members, where they deepened their understanding of the wines the
airline serves.

The airline has rolled out a number of initiatives
to enhance its inflight service. Last October,
the airline overhauled its wine menu, unveiling a new selection
of 52 wines that were also selected by Marc.

The carrier has also introduced a new Korean-style
vegan menu inspired by traditional Buddhist temple cuisine.

With its global hub at
Incheon International Airport (ICN), Korean serves 120
cities in 43 countries on five continents with a fleet of
156 aircraft and over 20,000 employees. The airline carried over
27 million passengers in 2019, pre-COVID.
