Tata Group fine jewellery brand Tanishq has bolstered its brick-and-mortar retail presence in Qatar and launched two new stores in Doha at Doha Festival City and Lulu D Ring Road. The launches bring the brand’s Gulf Cooperation Council store total to 11.
“Be it superior craftsmanship, exclusive designs or superlative service, Tanishq delivers on all fronts,” said Titan Company Limited’s international business division CEO Kuruvilla Markose at the launch, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “The private rooms have been added to our offering to cater to cultural sensitivities but also the specific needs of our discerning customers in Qatar who covet discretion and like to make informed decisions in the comfort of their own space.”
The brand’s Doha Festival City store launch was attended by Qatari entrepreneur Sheikha Alanoud Al Thani who witnessed the unveiling of Tanishq’s latest gold jewellery collections. The Lulu D Ring Road store was launched by the Ambassador of India to Qatar HE Vipul. Titan Company executives including Markose and GCC jewellery business head Aditya Singh also attended both launches, which took place on the same day.
The stores are designed in an Arabesque-inspired fashion and house multilingual in-store teams who can serve customers in-person or via video call. The stores also offer gold exchange and after-sales repair services.collections available at the new stores include ‘Gift of Rifa’ and ‘Colour Me Joy’ among others.
