(30/10/23) Air Canada has launched flights between
Vancouver and Dubai, UAE.
The airline will operate the route with four
flights per week using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft configured
with the following three cabins of service: Signature Class with
lie-flat seats, Premium Economy and Economy Class.
From Vancouver (YVR), flight AC78 is scheduled to depart
at 21:15 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in
Dubai (DXB) at 00:05, two days later.
The return leg, flight AC79, is
slated to leave Dubai at 02:05 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
and Saturdays, arriving in Vancouver at 05:55.

“This expansion
complements Air Canada’s existing daily service between DXB and
Toronto, and reaffirms our commitment to bringing more guests to
Dubai, as well as expand our growing global connectivity,” said
Rob Whitehouse, Vice President of Research at Dubai Airports.
Air Canada’s international onboard services
showcase some of Canada’s best culinary talent through the airline’s panel of celebrated chefs, comprising
Vancouver-based chefs David Hawksworth and Vikram Vij, and
renowned Montreal chefs Antonio Park and Jérôme Ferrer.
Complementing the culinary journey is a selection of top wines
chosen by leading Canadian sommelier, Véronique Rivest.
