Value fashion chain V2 Retail has a new address in Faridabad to add to its store count in Delhi NCR. The brand opened a new store in the city to retail over 5,000 traditional and western clothing and accessories styles. 

“Grand opening alert,” announced V2 Retail on Facebook. “Join us at the brand new V2 Retail Store in Faridabad and experience the latest fashion trends!” The store is located at Faridabad’s Main Market at NIT 1.
 
The brand also recently launched its festive clothing collection featuring a range of classically traditional occasion wear for women such as lehengas and kurta sets. The collection comes in traditional hues of red, ivory, and green and is adorned with subtle decorations for a hint of festive sparkle. 

V2 Retail focuses on value fashion and lifestyle products and runs a number of private label brands which retail from its stores. These include Herrlich, Godspeed, Glamora, and Honey Brats. 
 
V2 Retail has been focusing on brick-and-mortar expansion across India and opened new brick-and-mortar stores in Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar in late October. The brand also opened stores in Hajipur in Bihar and in Khorda and Berhampur in Odisha last month. 

The brand now totals over 11 lakh square feet of retail space spread across its offline stores in over 90 Indian cities, according to its website. V2 Retail specialises in value products for family shoppers and focuses on Tier 2 and 3 cities for its store openings to reach non-metro shoppers.  

V2 Retail is officially named Vishal Megamart Limited or Vishal Retail and was incorporated in 2001. The business is currently owned by private equity consortium Partners Group and Kedaara Capital.
