Sportswear brand Suditi Sports Apparel has partnered with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and will continue to create official merchandise including apparel and accessories for the sport on a multi-year contract. The goods will retail on the NBA’s ‘Shop the Arena’ e-commerce store as well as on select offline and online retail platforms. 

“Over the past five years, Suditi has played a vital role in helping us grow basketball and the NBA’s popularity in India,” said NBA India’s business head of global partnerships and media Sunny Malik, India Retailing reported. “There’s a clear demand for a more comprehensive range of NBA merchandise in the country, which is reflected by the fact that sales from NBA-branded Suditi products have grown four times since the launch of our collaboration. We expect that trend to continue as part of this multiyear expansion and look forward to continuing to work with Suditi to produce fan-wear that empowers fans in India to represent their favourite teams and players in style.”
 
By creating an expanded range of NBA products, Suditi Sports Apparel aims to tap into the increasing popularity of the sport in India and the NBA aims to engage followers of the sport. Goods Suditi Sports Apparel will create under the expanded partnership will include inner wear, apparel, head wear, and accessories among others.
