“Aditi is a culinary virtuoso, and her commitment to quality and freshness resonates with our brand ethos,” said Extra Butter’s co-founder and CEO Ankur Amin in a press release. “We share a passion for delivering premium products and unparalleled experiences, making this partnership a perfect match.”

The café is designed to blend indoor and outdoor elements with its cobbled patio, array of plants, and handwoven wicker furniture. The bespoke menu features harissa and popcorn-infused kinds of butter to allude to the store’s name and food options include olive tapenade twist, twice-baked apple pie croissant, and salted honey tart among others. Fresh coffee, juice, and bottled drinks are also available.

Conceptualised as a retreat from the urban landscape of its surroundings, the café also enables Extra Butter to keep shoppers in-store and engaged to boost purchasing. Extra Butter’s recently opened flagship store is located in Mumbai’s Utopia City and is scheduled to host numerous events in the near future such as movie screenings snd live performances to act as a cultural hub for the area.
