US-based global fashion and accessories brand Coach has opened its first exclusive brand outlet in the state of Gujarat. Located in the Palladium Ahmedabad shopping mall, the store launched with an Out of Home advertising campaign across Ahmedabad.
Along with running its OOH advertising campaign in collaboration with Palladium Ahmedabad in key locations in the city, Coach heralded the launch of its first store in Gujarat by running print campaigns in local daily publications, Coach announced in a press release on December 20. Launching in Ahmedabad will enable the brand to connect with local shoppers offline and offer them an immersive shopping experience.
The new store focuses on Coach’s handbag and accessories collections and also has a small segment for clothing. The outlet’s interior design is inspired by Coach’s hometown, New York and its clean, modern aesthetic is designed to appeal to today’s generation while honouring the brand’s history.
Palladium Ahmedabad describes itself as, “Gujarat’s first premium luxury retail and entertainment destination,” according to its website. The mall counts over 220 stores and focuses on premium brands such as Diesel, Michael Kors, and Dyson among others.
Coach was established in New York, US in 1941 and is run by multinational luxury fashion holding company Tapestry, Inc. The business is publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker TPR. Coach’s current creative director is Stuart Vevers.
