He also represented India in the Under-19 World Cup.
Moved to Australia four years ago for record series in cricket
When he couldn’t find fish in India, he went to Australia four years ago. And got a chance to play club cricket there. He started getting recognized for his game. Nikhil was included in the COVID-19 squad for Brisbane Hit, but then his career hung in the balance. He didn’t meet the Big Bash team until early September last year, so he was apprehensive.
Nikhil says, ‘I think I will get the Big Bash contract. But if you don’t get what you want, you get broken from within. However, a few days later, Nikhil’s agent called him to inform him that Hobart had recovered from the injury. This phone changed Nikhil’s life and his professional cricket career in Australia started on the right track.
When he couldn’t find fish in India, he went to Australia four years ago.
