23 wickets are going to fall on the first day of the second test between India and South Africa. The fast bowlers of both the teams took all the wickets. Batting first at the Newlands Stadium in Cape Town, South Africa took the toss, but the team was all out for 55 runs. Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets from India.
Team India also could not do anything special in its first innings and scored 153 runs. However, the team got a lead of 98 runs. Virat Kohli scored 46 runs, while 7 batsmen could not even open the account. 3 bowlers of South Africa took 3-3 wickets.
South Africa started its second innings in the third session itself. The team’s day’s play ended at 62 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. However, the team is still 36 runs behind India and has 7 wickets left.

South Africa all out in the first session
Batting first in Cape Town, South Africa played task shot, but the team could last only 23.2 overs. Their 11 players together could score only 55 runs. This is South Africa’s smallest score against India in Test cricket. Kyle Varian scored 15 runs and David Bedingham scored 12 runs. The rest of the batsmen could not even cross the score of 6 runs.
Mohammed Siraj was given only 6 wickets, 15 runs
Indian fast bowler Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets for 15 runs. They appointed Alan Marman, Dean Elgar, Tony DeGeorge, David Bedgham, Kyle Varian and Marco Yanson as journeymen. This was his best bowling of the test. Along with Siraj, Boyfriend and Mukesh Kumar got 2 wickets each.
India scored 111 runs in the second session
India started its first innings in the second session. The team lost 4 wickets and scored 111 runs. After taking the first wicket, Captain Rohit and Sharma took the team to 72 runs. India lost 42 runs in the third session. KL Rahul was not out on the score of 8 and Virat Kohli was on the score of 46 runs. India got a lead of 98 runs in the first innings.
Lungi Ngidi took 3 wickets on the first, third and fifth balls of the 33rd over. In the 34th over, India lost 3 wickets on the first, third and fifth balls. Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets in the 34th over, while one batsman was run out. Rabada took a total of 3 wickets in the innings.
Lost 3 wickets in the third session in South Africa
South Africa started its second innings in the third session of the first day itself. Elsen Mamram and Captain Dean Elgar started Sambhalkar. Both of them added 37 runs and then Elgar was out after scoring 12 runs. After him, Tony DeGeorge and Tristan Stubbs were out after scoring 1-1 runs. Mukesh Kumar took 2 wickets for India, while Dost got one success.
