Railways targets to complete Sonpur-Purunkatak section in 2024

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECOR) aims to complete the Sonpur-Puruncuttack section (73 km) of the Khurda Road-Balangir new line project by the end of this year. ECOR General Manager Manoj Sharma said this while inspecting the Newline project on Wednesday.

Sources said that a train from Balangir to the newly constructed Sonpur station will be flagged off in the coming days.
