India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the second test. The record of both is only 107 overs in total of 4 innings. This is the shortest match in 147 years of Test history, which also includes the results. Rohit Sharma became the fourth Indian captain to win a Test match in South Africa.

Batting first in Cape Town on Thursday, South Africa attacked with explosives, but the team was all out for 55 runs. India could also score only 153 runs in its first innings, although the team got a lead of 98 runs.

South Africa could score only 176 runs in its second innings. The team was ahead by 78 runs, so India got a score of 79 runs. Team India achieved the feat in the second session by losing 3 wickets in 12 overs.

That means the 2nd test match ended in 318.3 overs. 90 overs are bowled in one day of Test, if we look at it accordingly, then only half of the 3 day overs are bowled in the Test series, because even in 4 days a total of 360 overs are bowled.

With this, Rohit became the fourth Indian captain to win a Test match in South Africa. Before him, only MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli could make India win the Test here. Dhoni and Dravid won 1 test each, while Kohli won 2 tests in India.

India has won matches on 58th ground
With India becoming the country with the most number of Test wins on most grounds in the world at the stadium in Cape Town. The team created an Australian record, winning Tests on 57 grounds. India registered its 58th win on the ground with its win in the Cape Town Test.

Dean Elgar lost the last test of courage
Dean Elgar was batting for South Africa in the second Test. Strong captain Temba Bavuma could not play the match due to injury. Elgar had announced his placement even before the series. In the first test, he led the team to victory by playing an inning of 185 runs.

In the second test, Elgar could play only innings of 4 and 12 runs. The team did not win the last match and series of his career. While fielding in the last innings, South African players gave a guard of honor to Elgar. All the players applauded in respect of Elgar.
