Indian stocks opened with gains after two days of decline.

India’s benchmark indices opened higher on Thursday, marking a modest improvement from near-record-breaking highs seen in the last two sessions.
In early trade, the Sensex rose by 351.88 points to reach 71,708.48. nifty Reached 21,616.35 with a gain of 99 points.
Major gainers among Sensex listed companies include Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv, Tata Motors, Power Grid, Infosys, Mahindra & Mahindra, Nestle, Titan and Reliance Industries.
On the downside, HCL Tech, Tata Steel, Maruti and Bharti Airtel were among the poor performers.
American markets closed with a decline on Wednesday.
According to exchange data, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 666.34 crore on Wednesday.
BSE The benchmark closed 535.88 points or 0.75% lower at 71,356.60 on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Nifty fell by 148.45 points or 0.69% to 21,517.35.
