India and Pakistan were included in the group of T-20 World Cup to be held in June this year. According to the report of The Guardian, apart from India, Pakistan, Ireland, America and Canada are included in this group. The T20 World Cup will be played between West Indies and America from June 4 to 30 this year.

According to the report, a new player will be played in the tournament. T20 World Cup 2024 will be quite different from the previous T20 World Cup and there will be no qualifying round nor Super-12 stage.

4 groups of 5 races will be divided
The 20 teams participating in the T20 World Cup 2024 will be included in 4 groups of 5 teams each. The 2-2 top rated players from all groups advanced to the Super-8 stage. Qualified score of 2-2 in top rating of Super-8 also. The final of the tournament will be played on 30 June 2024.

2 finals, one final and 52 group stage matches, a total of 55 matches played in 27 days in the tournament. However, ICC has not yet announced it officially.

T20 World Cup 2022 details
The 16th match was taken part in the T-20 World Cup 2022. In this, 8 teams got direct entry for the Super-12 stage. Whereas 4 teams had made it to Super-12 through the qualifying round.

Stable champions England in Group B Australia
According to a report in The Telegraph, India has been placed in Group A, all the group stage matches will be played in America. Group B comprises defending champions England, Australia, Scotland, Namibia and Oman, with their West Indies matches to be played.

In Group C, West Indies will face New Zealand, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea and Uganda. In the final and fourth Group D, South Africa will face Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal.

20 records in World Cup for the first time
For the first time, 20 records will take part in the T-20 World Cup. Earlier, there were 12 records in the 4 World Cups played from 2007 to 2012 and 16 records in the 4 World Cups played from 2014 to 2022.

The last 2 tournaments were held during 16-16 races
In the last T20 World Cup played in 2021 and 2022, the score was 16-16. 4 out of 8 record qualifier players had a great part in the Super-12 stage. There were 45-45 matches in both the tournaments. The tournament, which started in 2007, now includes 20 records for the first time and the tournament will have more than 50 matches for the first time. India won the first title in 2007, England team became champion for the last time in 2022.
