Mumbai: Tata Power To simplify name change on electricity bills for Mumbai consumers, a drive called ‘Name Change’ was conducted recently, benefiting 4,000 citizens, a senior official said on Friday.
He said the campaign was organized from December 1 to 15 and was later extended till December 31 on public demand.
It was conducted at customer touch points and residential societies Mira Road, Ghatkopar, KurlaLower Parel, goregaon And Malad. Along with necessary documents like ownership and identity proof documents etc., an official said.
In these camps, officials also encouraged consumers to adopt digital services like digital payment methods, e-wallet offers, conversion to e-bills, switching to green power, updating contact details online, etc.
