Rafael Nadal was taken medical time off during the Brisbane International quarterfinal match.
Spain’s star tennis player Rafael Nadal will not play in the Australian Open 2024 due to injury. After almost a year, Nadal returned to the tennis court a week later.
Two-time champion Nadal has withdrawn his name from the Australian Open due to a minor injury on Sunday. Nadal has informed on social media about his exit from Australian Open. He said he has returned to Spain to heal from his injury.
Australian Open 2024 is starting from 14 January, whose final will be played on 28 January. Around 200 players (men’s and women’s) participate in the tournament.

Nadal tweeted, Hello everyone, there was a small problem with my mix during my last match in Brisbane, as you know I was worried. Once I mailed I got the opportunity of MRI and my friend has the microphone tire, not in the part where I was injured and that is good news. Right now I am not preparing for a five-set match. I’m going back to Spain to see my doctor and rest.
