Top business tycoons including Ambani, Adani, N Chandrasekaran, Birla are set to attend Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya

Ram Mandir Ayodhya: Including India’s Top Business Leaders Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries, Kumar Mangalam Birla Aditya Birla Group, N Chandrasekaran of Tata Sons, and Gautam Adani Adani Group is preparing to participate in the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple. Ayodhya On 22 January.
With a guest list of over 10,000, the event will be graced by not only business tycoons but also notable personalities from the fields of entertainment, sports, politics, faith, public life and arts.
According to an ET report, former Hindustan Unilever (HUL) CEO Sanjiv Mehta expressed excitement about the event, calling it an important day for Hindus and Indians. “I am really looking forward to this event. It is a big day for all Hindus and Indians. For me, it is a spiritual journey as a Hindu,” Mehta was quoted as saying.
Mehta, along with other business leaders like Vedanta Group’s Anil Agarwal, Piramal Enterprises’ Ajay Piramal, Raymond Group’s Gautam Singhania and TVS chairman emeritus Venu Srinivasan, are among the guests invited to the function by the temple trust.

Bharat Forge’s Baba Kalyani, Amit Kalyani, Emcure Pharmaceuticals CEO and MD Satish Mehta and L&T CMD SN Subramaniam are also included in the guest list.
A top leader of a major Indian conglomerate said receiving the invitation from the Trust was a deeply emotional experience.
“Ayodhya temple has been a place of faith and spiritual importance for Hindus since ancient times. And it has always been on my ‘must visit’ list,” the financial daily quoted the tycoon as saying.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. Hotels in Ayodhya are fully booked, and strict protocols have been put in place for the participation of sadhus, VIPs and VVIPs. Each invitee received a detailed invitation card, which emphasizes that this is a strictly ‘one-card-one-person’ invitation.

Many business tycoons intend to use private planes to visit Ayodhya and are expected to choose Radisson among other major hotels in the temple city for accommodation.
According to a government official overseeing the arrangements, the fixed accommodation option for the VVIP will be selected closer to the date.
To accommodate the expected arrival of around 100 aircraft during the function, airstrips are being prepared at Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar and Azamgarh. This highlights the scale of the celebration and the importance of the event.
It is noteworthy that India’s largest engineering company L&T has done the design and construction of the temple without any fee.

Additionally, the UP Housing and Development Board has invited bids from interested parties for the auction of hotel plots in Ayodhya, indicating growing interest from major hotel chains to cash in on the tourism boom. With the upcoming opening of the airport and temple, housing demand in Ayodhya is expected to increase from FY25.
