The final match of the Under-19 Trike Series between India and South Africa was to be played on Sunday, but the match was canceled due to rain. In which the trophy was shared between both the teams. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted on Thursday. Due to rain, not a single ball could be played at the Old Edwardians Cricket Ground Club Ground.

The match referee waited till the cut-off time to start the match. But, in the end the decision to cancel the match was not taken because of Raina.

Team India won all the maths in the league stage.
The Indian Under-19 cricket team did not harvest a single match in the league stage. The Indian team had won all the matches during the league stage in unprecedented fashion. The team’s first match in the series was played against Afghanistan, in which it won by six wickets. In the second match, South Africa lost by six wickets, in the third match, Afghanistan lost by nine wickets and in the fourth match, South Africa lost by six wickets.

Team India’s eyes on Under-19 World Cup
Team India is now eyeing to win the Under-19 World Cup title. India’s Under-19 team has so far won the Under-19 World Cup a total of five times. The Indian team will play the Under-19 World Cup practice match against Australia in Pretoria on Saturday. Second practice match against Team India on 17 January. Whereas in the Under-19 World Cup, India will start its campaign against Bangladesh.
