Shaun Marnash has announced his retirement from professional cricket. He will currently play for Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League (BBL). On January 17, he will play the last professional cricket match of his career against Sydney Thunder.

First of all, Aaron Finch played his last professional cricket match for Renegades on Saturday. He could not even open his account in the match.

Marsh joined Renegades in 2019-2020
Marsh joined the Renegades team in 2019-2020 and before that he was a part of the Parth Scorchers team. Marsh announced his retirement on Sunday and said that January 17 will be the last professional match of his career against Sydney Thunders.

“I love playing for the Renegades,” Marsh said. I have met some great people over the last five years and the friendships I made will last a lifetime. This team is crazy, they are amazing to me, amazing teammates and even best friends.

Saint took leave from domestic cricket last year
Marsh retired from domestic cricket last year. He made his domestic cricket debut in 2001 for Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield. He came out to film his half-century for Melbourne Renegades at Marvel Stadium on Saturday evening.

Marsh has scored 2810 runs in 79 matches in BBL at an average of 40.72. He is at sixth position among the batsmen who have scored the most runs in BBL history. He has 27 shops in his name. Marsh has played 38 Tests, 73 Tests and 15 T20 Internationals for Australia after making his international debut in 2008.

Marsh is the first superstar of IPL
Shaun Marsh made his debut for Australia in 2008. He played the first season of IPL in April-May this year, when he caught everyone’s attention by scoring the highest number of runs. This left handed batsman got his first Orange Cap in IPL. The orange cap quotes the batsman scoring the most runs. After the IPL, he was selected in the T-20 team against West Indies.
