Engine defeated Zimbabwe by 9 wickets in the third T20. Batting first at the R Premadasa Stadium in Christchurch, Zimbabwe could score only 82 runs. Sri Lankan captain Wanindu Hasaranga took 4 wickets. Sri Lanka achieved the total of 83 runs in 10.5 overs at the loss of one wicket.

The team scored only 82 runs in 14.1 overs.
