state ownership Bharat Electronics Limited ,BEL) on Tuesday said it has received orders worth Rs 847.84 crore, including a major project of the Finance Ministry. Company received orders worth Rs 665.84 crore (including tax) Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), Ministry of FinanceTo implement and manage IT infrastructure.
“The scope of the project is supply, installation and maintenance of IT and networking infra, field IT support and centralized management and monitoring,” BEL said in a filing. BSEAdditionally, maintenance support will be provided for five years including the implementation period.
“This is one of the largest civil projects won by BEL on a competitive basis during the current financial year,” it said.
BEL has also received orders worth Rs 182 crore for various spares and services. With this, BEL has received cumulative orders worth Rs 28,494 crore in the current financial year.
