New Delhi: Passenger vehicles (PV) sales in India got off to a strong start in 2024, with wholesale sales growing 14% year-on-year to 3,93,074 units last month, the best ever figure for January, which That’s driven by strong demand. Utility vehicles, industry body SIAM said on Wednesday.
According to data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), deliveries of passenger vehicles from manufacturers to dealers in January 2023 stood at 3,46,080 units. Last month, wholesale sales of two-wheelers increased by 26% to 14,95,183 units.
