Vibhor Steel Tubes gains 181% in market debut

New Delhi: Vibhor Steel TubeThe steel pipe maker listed on Indian stock exchanges on Tuesday at a premium of 181 per cent over its issue price of Rs 151.
On NSE, the stock started trading at Rs 425, 181.46 per cent higher than the issue price. Similarly, but BSEShares of Vibhor Steel Tubes started trading at Rs 421, up 178.81 per cent.
The stock touched Rs 442 on BSE, an increase of 192.72 per cent from the issue price. The market valuation of the company on BSE stood at Rs 838.14 crore in morning trade.
During morning trade, the Sensex rose 88.40 points or 0.12 per cent to 72,796.56. nifty Registering a slight gain of 15 points, it reached 22,122.10.
Last week, Vibhor Steel Tubes’ initial public offering (IPO) subscription surged nearly 300 times on the last day, driven mainly by institutional investors.
Headquartered in Haryana, Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited (VSTL) launched a fresh issue of equity shares of face value Rs 10 each through the book-building route, aggregating to Rs 72.17 crore.
