The Platinum Guild International India will bring together platinum jewellery manufacturers and retailers from across India at the sixth edition of its ‘Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet’ from July 6 to 7. The trade event is designed to boost business through creating networking opportunities.
“As the demand for platinum jewellery continues to grow, we remain dedicated to supporting our partners in meeting the evolving consumer preferences,” said PGI India’s managing director Vaishali Banerjee, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. “This year, we aim to make the event bigger and better. The new collections across our three categories, Platinum Love Bands, Platinum Evara, and Men of Platinum, are sure to be a tremendous success.”
The event is designed to bring platinum jewellery businesses together to discuss ways to promote platinum jewellery and strengthen it as a product category in India. Buyers and sellers can arrange individual meetings and manufacturers will take the occasion to showcase their latest platinum designs.
“The Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet provides us with a great opportunity to explore new designs and stock up on pieces that will attract our customers,” said Kalyan Jewellers’ executive director Rajesh Kalyanaraman. “We are witnessing a rise in demand for platinum jewellery among young working women, as they seek a sophisticated and modern look. The contemporary designs of platinum jewellery make it the perfect choice for everyday wear and special occasions.”
