Sportswear brand Under armour has opened a new concept store in Hyderabad’s shopping district Banjara Hills. The new outlet offers shoppers Under Armour’ full range of performance wear in a setting designed to inspire sporting greatness. 

“Let nothing get in the way of your best self,” announced Under Armour India on Facebook, sharing a video of its latest products on the field and in the gym. “Come get your athletic armour at our new flagship store. Under Armour is now open at Banjara Hills.” 
 
Entrepreneur Kevin Plank launched Under Armour in 1996 in Washington DC, US. The brand now retails across over 15,000 stores worldwide, according to its website. 

“Proudly present our Brand House City Concept Evolved store at Banjara Hills, Road No 2, Hyderabad,” wrote Under Armour’s India head of store design and construction projects Chanchal Jaising on Linkedin. “This store with a massive facade and hand-painted murals as a tribute to the athletes has been an exciting journey. Grateful for being associated with a team that’s all about the effort and hard work.”
 
Under Armour opened its first brick-and-mortar store in India in 2019 in New Delhi’s DLF Promenade Mall. The brand now counts over 28 stores across the country, mainly in metro locations.
