 At the annual APG World Connect airline
conference in Monaco, France earlier this month, Steven Howard of
Travel News Asia interviewed APG’s President and CEO, Sandrine de
Saint Sauveur.

In this interview, filmed on 2 November, Steven
asks how APG has managed to make the extremely glamorous event
such a success, how the company is able to keep it so intimate
whilst also ensuring that there is the right balance of delegates
from airlines and other industry stakeholders as well as APG
offices from all around the world.

Sandrine gives us a little insight into APG as a
company, why her father founded the company over 32 years ago, how
APG was impacted by Covid and how the company has managed to
emerge from the challenges brought on by the pandemic even
stronger than before.

Steven asks how important the Asia Pacific region
is to APG, which markets within the region they are seeing the
most growth, and why the company chose to host their AGM 2024 in
Kuala Lumpur as well as APAC’s regional training in Melaka,
Malaysia.

We also discuss technology, and Sandrine explains
how APG is using the data that passes through its servers, what
role NDC and AI will play in APG’s future, what challenges the
