“Our retail store network strength is increasing with new store opening in different key markets in the country,” Khadim India Limited’s whole-time director Rittick Roy Burman told Images Retail in an interview. “We have 848 stores in India and plan to add 70 to 80 stores in financial year 2024.”

The brand has also recently enhanced its e-commerce capabilities in order to cater to increased festive demand. Khadim India retails on multi-brand platforms including Flipkart, Myntra, and Amazon India as well as its direct to customer e-commerce store.

Khadim India has recently opened a number of new stores to reach shoppers across India. In October, the brand opened stores in locations including Yavatmal, South Delhi’s Kalkaji, Abhayapuri, Belonia, and Tangla, Khadim India announced on Facebook.

The brand retails its own brand value footwear and also runs the brands Cleo, British Walkers, Lazard, Turk, Sharon, Bonito, and Pro. Beginning its journey in the 1960s in Kolkata, Khadim India became listed on India’s stock exchanges in 2017.

“Technology has contributed a lot in footwear manufacturing,” said Burman. “Comfort is the main deciding factor for footwear purchase now a days especially for closed footwear. The deployment of new technologies has helped a lot in manufacturing comfort pairs.”
