Swedish eyewear brand Chimi partners with BRDG Group for India entry

Swedish eyewear brand Chimi has partnered with global brand management firm BRDG Group for its entry into the Indian market.

With this association, Chimi will exclusively sell its unisex eyewear to customers across the country through its channel partner BRDG Group.

The brand will be available for shopping on Chimi’s online store and Tata Cliq’s luxury platform. It plans to further expand its presence on other online marketplaces and will soon be present in exclusive luxury offline stores.

Commenting on the launch, Charlie Lindström, co-founder of Chimi in a statement said, “Launching in India is exciting to witness our designs, inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and futuristic aesthetics, transcend geographical constraints. India, with its rich tapestry of culture and vibrant diversity serves as the perfect canvas for our multifaceted catalogue.”

Magnus Toveberg, director of BRDG Group added, “We are happy to launch Chimi, a cult Swedish eyewear brand in the vibrant Indian market. As a channel partner, we are committed to elevating consumer experiences and introducing a global celebrity favourite brand like Chimi in India aligns perfectly with our ethos.”

Chimi was founded in Stockholm in 2016 with the idea of creating eyewear, ready-to-wear and accessories.
