Global conglomerate Lulu Group opened a new mall in Kerala’s Palakkad on December 18, located on the Kannadi National Highway. The shopping centre measures two lakh square feet and is the third Lulu Mall in the South Indian state. 

“Get ready for a fashion-packed adventure in Palakkad,” announced the mall on its new Facebook page. “Anticipate the thrilling announcement at LuLu Mall! Something chic and dazzling is about to unfold!”
 
The mall is spread over two storeys and houses a Lulu Hypermarket measuring a sizeable one lakh square feet. Lulu Hypermarket is Lulu Group’s multi-brand, value-focused apparel, groceries, and lifestyle chain which has addresses in numerous Lulu Malls in India. 

The new mall also features a Lulu Fashion Store which retails a mix of Indian and international brands, India Retailing reported. The store caters to men, women, and children and retails both western and ethnic wear. 
 
A Lulu Connect store in the mall houses both electronic goods and home appliances to make the shopping mall a one stop shop for Palakkad locals’ needs. An additional 30 brands have opened stand alone stores in the mall. These include Peora, Akshaya Gold & Diamonds, Poshe Salon, Jamal Opticals, American Tourister, V Star, and Vismay among others.
