Shreyas can join Ireland’s Test squad against England.

Team India’s young batsman Shreyas Iyer will keep an eye on the Ranji Trophy match. Mumbai included him in their squad. The team will play its second match in the LIT group against Andhra Pradesh from January 12.

Shreyas has been left out of the T-20 squad against Afghanistan. The T-20 series started from 11 January till 17 January.

Shreyas did not get a place in India’s T-20 team but he can make a comeback in the Test squad against England. On the last tour in South Africa, he scored only 31, 6, 0 and 4 runs in 4 innings. Shreyas was injured in the Test series against Australia last year. Due to injury, he could not play in IPL, WTC final and West Indies series. He made a comeback from the Asia Cup after injury but impressed everyone with his performance in the lucrative World Cup. In the tournament, Shreyas batted at number 4 and scored 2 centuries and more than 500 runs.

29 year old Shreyas Iyer is a domestic cricket player from Mumbai. He played his last Ranji Trophy match for the team in the 2018-19 season. Mumbai will be stronger with the arrival of Shreyas, because Shivam Dubey and Sarfaraz Khan will not be in the team.

Sarfaraz is part of the India-A squad and will play the first class match against England Lance. The competition will be played on 12-13 January. The youth is part of India’s T-20 team against Afghanistan.

Shreyas last played a Ranji Trophy match for Mumbai in 2018.
