The first double header match of the league season was played in ILT20 on Sunday. In the first match, Andris Gaus played an inning of 95 runs and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders defeated Desert Vipers by 6 wickets. Riders bowler Ali Khan took 3 wickets.

Riders deployed shotgun-wielding technicians in Dubai. Vipers, batting first, scored 164 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Knight Riders completed the chase after losing 4 wickets in just 17.4 overs.

Whereas, on the second day, MI defeated Golf Giants by 18 runs in Emirates. The Giants implanted electrodes before fielding. Batting first in Abu Dhabi, MI scored 179 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Gulf Giants could score only 161 runs for 9 wickets.

MI captain Nicholas Fullerene scored 51 runs and Tim David scored 41 runs in 15 balls. Whereas Fazalhaq Faruqui took 4 wickets.

Vipers’ Adam Hoss topper, Ali took 3 wickets
For the Vipers, Anthony started alongside captain Colin Munro and Alex Hales. Munro could score 22 runs and Hales could score 11 runs. Dan Lawrence could also score only 19 runs. From here Adam Hoss and Wanindu Hasaranga made innings and made a partnership of 57 runs. Hasaranga was out after scoring 24 runs.

In the final, Team David strengthened its innings and continued the friendship by scoring 41 runs in 15 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 2 fours. Dwayne Bravo was at the crease with him after scoring one run.

Chris Jordan got two wickets for Giants. Whereas Mujibur Rahman, Jamie Overton and Dominic Drakes got one wicket each.

Nicholas Fullan scored 51 runs in 28 balls at a strike rate of 182.14. It included 3 maids and 4 women.

Giants have a great start but the middle order is Baraka.
Jamie Smith and Captain James Vince started the innings for the Giants. Smith 17 runs left out where Captain Vinas remained on the second terrace.

Jordan Cox was out on the very first ball and Usman Khan was out after scoring 22 runs. Jamie Overton played an inning of 41 runs on 18 balls and with him captain Vince scored 52 runs on 43 balls.

The team’s innings collapsed after Overton was out. Shimron Hetmyer was out for 15 runs, Karim Janat was out for one run and Chris Jordan was out for 0 runs. Mujeeb ur Rahman could score only two runs.

In the final, Ayaan Afzal Khan along with Dominic Drakes were left with two runs and one run respectively.

Giants scored only 161 runs losing 9 wickets and lost the match.

Fazal Haq Farooqui got four wickets for MI. Bolt had two successes. Brian Bravo and Waqar Salmi took one wicket each.

James Vince played an inning of 53 runs in 43 balls with the help of 7 balls and 1 six.
