India is currently the second largest crude steel producer in the world.
Meanwhile, the budget session of Parliament, the last before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May this year, will begin with President Draupadi Murmu addressing the joint sitting of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the new Parliament House.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the interim budget on February 1. The budget session will end on February 9.
