Mumbai: The National Company Law Tribunal ,NCLT) has accepted Zee’s petition seeking implementation of its proposed merger with Sony. It will hear the case along with a similar petition filed by Mad Men Film Ventures, one of Zee’s shareholders, on March 12. Mumbai Tribunal directed Sony to file its response to Zee’s petition with Mad Men before March 12. The development comes just after Singapore’s arbitral tribunal rejected Sony’s request against Zee, seeking a stay on court proceedings in India after the Japanese major called off the $10 billion merger between them .
