Betul (Goa): State-run ONGC And NTPC Green Energy Limitedis a subsidiary of NTPC On Wednesday signed a joint venture agreement to develop renewable energy projects focusing on offshore wind.
The joint venture, signed at the India Energy Week, envisages construction of renewable energy projects both in India and abroad.
The scope also includes projects in battery storage, e-mobility, carbon credit, green credit, green hydrogen and its derivatives such as green ammonia and green methanol.
ONGC had signed an MoU in September 2023 ngel To advance its renewable energy targets in line with the Government’s energy transition targets.
The primary focus of the MoU was to assess the feasibility and set up renewable energy projects in different areas.
