    Thai AirAsia Launches Flights from Bangkok (DMK) to Shanghai and Kaohsiung

         Thai AirAsia has expanded its route network with
    new services to both Shanghai and Kaohsiung.

    The popular LCC will operate five direct flights
    per week between Don Mueang (DMK) and Shanghai (PVG), whilst Kaohsiung
    (KHH)
    will be served with four flights per week also from DMK.

    The new Don Mueang – Shanghai srvice, operated by Thai
    AirAsia (FD), provides an alternative to
    the existing Suvarnabhumi (BKK) – Shanghai flights serviced by
    Thai AirAsia X (XJ).

    “The city of Kaohsiung is a key destination
    with attractions for both art and spiritual travelers. The
    destination is a charming and unique place that is easy to
    navigate with many convenient facilities including its high speed
    train service,” said Santisuk Klongchaiya, Chief Executive Officer
    of AirAsia Thailand. “It took a lot of hard work for AirAsia to finally
    introduce Don Mueang-Kaohsiung and we are confident it will become
    a popular new destination for Thai tourists while also bringing in
    visitors to the Kingdom.”
