(09/02/24) Hyatt has expanded its JdV brand of hotels to
Southwest Asia, with the rebranding of a hotel in Goa, India.
Located on Calangute Baga Road in north Goa, the
Ronil Goa hotel has a legacy that dates back more than 35 years
and while it still operates under the same name, it is now a JdV
by Hyatt hotel.
“We are very excited to witness Ronil in this new
iteration as the first JdV by Hyatt hotel in India and Southwest
Asia,” said Gaurav Khaunte, Managing Director, Ronil Hotels and Resorts and
Owner of Ronil Goa. “We are looking forward to celebrating many
milestones together with Hyatt as we embark on this new journey
together.”

The resort offers 135 rooms with private balconies
that feature open wardrobes, complimentary
mini-bar, signature cedar sandalwood bath amenities and locally
sourced tea and coffee brands in collaboration with Tea Trunk and
Hermit coffee.
Facilities include two swimming pools – including
a swim-up pool bar, a variety of F&B outlets, a 24/7 gym, jacuzzi,
wood-fired oven, poolside BBQ, over 5,440 square feet of
flexible meeting and event space, an on-site DJ host and upbeat
entertainment program.
A spa is scheduled to open in the coming months.
“Complementing our current portfolio of Hyatt
brands in the country, the introduction of the JdV by Hyatt brand
in India signifies a strategic milestone in Hyatt’s thoughtful
expansion within the leisure market,” said Sunjae Sharma, Managing Director, India and Southwest Asia, Hyatt.
“We are excited for guests
traveling to Goa to embrace this bold experience. Ronil Goa aligns
seamlessly with the brand, which encourages living in the moment
and celebrating the joy of life, making it a perfect addition to
the portfolio. We look forward to further enhancing our
distinctive brand footprint throughout the sub-continent.”
