Italian denim and apparel brand Diesel has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Gujarat to bring its premium western wear to shoppers in the state. The exclusive brand outlet is located in Palladium Mall in Ahmedabad.

“Gujarat’s first Diesel store is now open at Palladium Ahmedabad,” announced The Phoenix Mills’ assistant general manager for leasing Saurabh Garg on Linkedin. Diesel’s store is located on the ground floor of the mall and joins brands including Michael Kors, Coach, And, Dyson, Adidas, Biba, W, Swarovski, Zoya, and H&M in the shopping centre, according to its website. 

Diesel is located in Breganze, Italy and specialises in denim and casual wear for men and women and also operates a children’s wear line named Diesel Kid. The label launched in 1978 and its parent company is OTB Group.

Diesel entered the Indian market over 10 years ago when Reliance Industries Limited signed a joint venture agreement with the label, Business Standard reported. Diesel retails in India through its brick-and-mortar stores, direct to customer India e-commerce store, and multi-brand online platforms including Myntra and Tata Cliq Luxury among others. 
 
Diesel also has an exclusive brand outlet in Palladium Mall’s Mumbai location. Palladium Mall Ahmedabad is located in Thaltej and houses over 250 Indian and international brands.
