NEW DELHI: India’s shooting contingent continues to shine at the Asian Games in Hangzhou, securing a gold medal in the men’s 50m rifle men’s 3P event on Friday.
The Indian team, consisting of Swapnil Kusal, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, and Akhil Sheoran, delivered a stellar performance, amassing a total of 1769 points to claim the gold medal. Their remarkable score also broke the world record of 1761 points, previously held by the USA since last year.

This victory marked India’s 15th medal in shooting at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou. With a total of 27 medals, including seven gold, nine silver, and 11 bronze medals, India has been performing exceptionally well in various sporting disciplines.
