New Delhi: Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd registered 3.1 percent rise on Wednesday decline in its consolidated Net Profit Rs 85.45 crore for the third quarter ending December 2023. Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd (CGCEL) said in a regulatory filing that the company had posted a net profit of Rs 88.19 crore in the October-December quarter a year ago.
However, this Income Revenue from operations increased by 11.63 percent to Rs 1,692.69 crore in the quarter under review. It was Rs 1,516.21 crore in the same period a year ago.
CGCEL’s total expenses increased by 12.22 percent to Rs 1,596.90 crore in the December 2023 quarter.
complete consolidated Income increased by 11.17 percent to Rs 1,709.36 crore.
In the December 2023 quarter, CGCEL’s revenue from electric consumer durables segment grew 18.54 per cent to Rs 1,209.27 crore.
However, revenue from lighting products remained stable at Rs 249.36 crore.
Revenue from its subsidiary Butterfly, which it acquired early last year, stood at Rs 234.06 crore.
